It's just as the title says. Recently, Nintendo released a new Fireware Update for the 3DS. The update is very minor. All it does is increase system stability, and allow more characters (ex: a, b, c, 1, 2, 3, !, @, 3, etc). to be used on passwords in the eShop (what protects your credit card info). There have also been rumors that flash carts are being blocked (although nothing has been confirmed yet). If that last rumor is true, then Nintendo is really trying to stop hackers out there. Anyways, if you don't know how to update your system, follow these steps:
- Turn on your system
- Go to System Settings (Wrench Icon)
- Click on Other Settings (Button on Bottom Right)
- Go to the 4th page
- Click on the button that says System Update (Middle Button)
- Click OK, and Agree to the Terms
- Update!!
